2008 Municipal Runoff Election

On August 26, 2008 the City of Weaver held a Municipal Election for Mayor and Place 4 Council.  Garry Bearden and Shelia Field will be in a Runoff Election for Mayor that will take place on October 7, 2008. 

Wayne Willis won  Council Place 4.

ELECTION OFFICIALS FOR MUNICIPAL 2008 ELECTIONS

Andy Nelson, Caryl Stahl, Myles Perry, Larry Morris, Eva Lee Crowe, Jean Pollard and Mary Stahl.

I want to thank each of these citizens for doing an exemplary job with our regular election.  As we are having a runoff on October 7, 2008, it will be necessary to engage these capable individuals once more for another long thirteen hour day.  I hope all citizens will thank each of these election officials for their willingness to serve our community.
